As a mum to three amazing adult children, I've spent over 30 years walking alongside parents on their perinatal journey.

It all began when I became a Breastfeeding Counsellor, volunteering with the Australian Breastfeeding Association for 18 wonderful years. I was also one of the first doulas in Melbourne, supporting many couples through birth and those precious early days. Over the years, I've worn many hats — Calmbirth antenatal educator, peer mentor with the Australasian Birth Trauma Association, Circle of Security parenting facilitator — and have embraced a variety of complementary trainings along the way.

I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (majoring in Children and Families), a Graduate Diploma of Counselling, and I'm currently working towards my Masters in Counselling.

Becoming a mum wasn’t smooth sailing for me — I hit plenty of bumps along the way. What I needed most was someone who truly understood what I was going through, someone who could hold space for me with kindness, no judgment, and genuine support. That experience lit a fire in me, and from there, my life’s work began.

My areas of specialist support are perinatal mental health, pregnancy adjustment, birth experiences, transitions to parenthood and grief or loss.

It’s such a privilege to now be a support for others — to walk alongside parents as they find their way, offering encouragement, compassion, and practical tools to help them step into this life-changing chapter with more confidence, joy, and self-belief — even on the tough days.
